Pauline Bennett's out, the first BB bonk and Toya Washington's big game plan

By Tuesday 24 Jun 2014
Week 3: Pauline Bennet is the second housemate to be evicted, Helen Wood continues to stir and Toya Washington lands herself in big trouble
Hey guys! I'm off to Ibiza this week but I've made sure I can stay tuned for all the Big Brother madness while I'm over there. It's going to be crazy!
I'm struggling with the house a little bit at the moment, it's just so negative. They don't seem to be enjoying themselves or the experience. So far it's all about rowing, bullying and arguing. I just want someone to crack a joke! Also, I know my Big Brother was appalling and messy but this is the messiest one I've ever seen in my life. They are vile! They just sit there surrounded by empty cans and rubbish. It's looks like they're sat in a rubbish bin. I was upset to hear how many boos Pauline got but she didn't do much to change my mind in her interview [Wenn]
Pauline Bennett is out The public made the right choice last Friday. I don't like seeing people booed but I was surprised she carried on giving Jale a bad time. She just couldn't give Emma Willis – who deserves a big well done for that interview by the way – a straight answer. Now she's out I think the house will definitely become a better place as she often told people where to sit and who not to talk to. Also, I think Big Brother should take away her power nominations (Jale is up for eviction every week and Helen has a pass to the final thanks to Pauline) now she's gone. And even though I don't like Helen, I do want to continue watching her. Plus, she has got quite a nice husky voice… I'm not convinced this romance is going to go the distance [Channel 5]
Big Brother romances Something HAS to happen between Helen and Ash! He does seem much more interested in her than she is him though. They could even be our first BB bonk! She's holding back her real feelings because she's worried about how people are perceiving her on the outside world. She probably thought that if she had a TV relationship, it would make her look worst than she already does. Kimberly definitely doesn't like Steven in the same way either. She's just staying with him because she's lost her friends Ashleigh and Danielle thanks to Helen. Also, did you hear Helen's chat with Kimberly about having a shower with Winston after his love interest Tamara left? My blood was boiling! I went to bed in SUCH a bad mood. I love Coleen Rooney though so I'm probably biased.  Toya Washington needs to be careful while she's the Power Housemate [Channel 5]
Watch it, Toya I still like Toya but she's definitely got her game head on. From my experience, I know that when you're in there, one little thing can be a massive deal. I understand why she can be perceived as aggressive. She's playing a massive game and she's very good at twisting things. With the BB twist this week – where one of the Power Housemates will face eviction – I think she could be in trouble, especially after she robbed all her mates of their nominations. Although to be honest, I think all housemates given the power will have a big downfall. I wouldn't like it myself because you set yourself up as a target and people don't forget what you've done to them. Danielle McMahon could be in trouble on eviction night [Channel 5]
Nominations Christopher and Danielle are in big trouble this week. Although I like him, I just don't find him that entertaining.  Also, I'm just bored of Danielle's act. I mean, is she seriously saying she's never had a discussion about a willy in her life? Alright then!
House advice At the moment, there's no one in there that strikes me as a winner. Mark is my early prediction but I'm just not sure. I thought Winston at the beginning but he hasn't brought a lot to the table since his love interest went. No one shines out. I couldn't put a bet on. I really want them all to start enjoying themselves. Everyone likes a b**** and a drama but it's getting too much. Their heads are so into the game, they've forgotten they're in the BB house.  I know you've got to do things you don't want to do but think with your heart and not with your head.  Mark Byron is the only one giving me the giggles at the moment [Channel 5]

Josie Gibson's Big Brother blog: Pauline's power trip, missing Tamara and clever nominations

By Tuesday 17 Jun 2014
Week 2: Pauline lets the power go to her head, Helen should be ashamed of herself and Chris causes paranoia ...................... Hey guys! I've turned into a Big Brother-mad lunatic this week. Not only am I watching this series but I've also decided to catch up on my own after four years. I've got the show coming out my eyeballs! I'm enjoying it all but I've definitely turned into a Big Brother recluse. But oh my god, it's turned into a proper stressful house this week. It's like a pressure cookerin there and everyone is feeling it.
I am LOVING Chris being the new Power Housemate [Channel 5Chris and his nominations  I am loving that Chris is the new Power Housemate, but I can't tell if he's acting or not. I have to remind myself he's an actor at times. I'm paranoid and I'm not even in there!  Voting for Pauline was an easy decision for him as he's always been wary of her – and I think hearing the boos on Friday night's eviction show just helped him realise he was right. It was a cheap blow but she had it coming. Seriously, if someone wants an extra bit of food, let them have it! For me personally, I'd like to see Danielle go up. She looked like the cat that got the cream when she was saved from eviction. Plus, she just so contradictory it makes my head hurt.  Ash shouldn't be up either – I like him –  but other than that, I think Chris has got it spot on. Steven will probably go just for being such a wet lettuce. I mean, he can never look his mates in the eye again after that crying performance, surely?  Me and Pauline would not get on in the house, especially if she wouldn't let me have more chicken! [Channel 5]
Pauline's power trip - I kept saying Pauline was my favourite last week but she's turned into a right cow. The power trip went right to her head and now she thinks she owns the whole house! In the outside world me and her would probably get along really well but I couldn't live with her. There would be fireworks – 100 per cent. Telling me I can't eat? I don't think so, Pauline. The other housemates – including my fave, Toya – are disappointing me too, it's like they've turned into Pauline's puppets. If she goes home this week, there will be new dynamics to the house for sure. I think she holds people back from being themselves.
I was sad to see Tamara go, I was just warming up to her and Winston [Channel 5]
Missing Tamara - I'm really upset that Danielle didn't go as I think Tamara has more to offer. I did think her romance with Winston was fake at first, but I started to see they really did like each other and I do love a TV romance!  I think she would have slept with him too if she stayed in the house longer. I'm hoping the housemates start standing up to Helen this week [Channel 5] This week -  It's such a game playing house this year and I would like to see them have a bit more of a laugh to be honest. They're all very aware of themselves and they've forgotten to have fun!  Every time they put that Playboy girl on [Kimberly] I just think of that Snoopy dog that talks really slow. She's a bit miserable. You're in the Big Brother house, come on!  It's a very negative household and I don't know if that's Pauline putting a big black cloud over everyone. I'd also like to see the housemates stand up to Helen. Her argument with Danielle (even though I don't like her) was disgusting as well as with Christopher and Jale. They should really be ashamed of themselves.   But Jale could win because of all this. She's taking it on the chin and the public love to support that kind of character.I think Jale could win after her rows this week [Channel 5]

Game plans, killer nominations and BB romances

Former reality show winner delivers her verdict on the housemates exclusively to OK! Online, every week

By Josie Gibson - MONDAY 09 JUN 2014
Week 1: Pauline's got the power, Danielle's got mixed up and Marlon's got the Phwoar Factor
Hey guys! I'm so excited that Big Brother is back and that I get to blog about it every week!
I'm still waiting for life in the house to spice up – I definitely need to see some fireworks. But I think the housemates can all definitely hold their own this series, so I am expecting it to kick off soon. For me, Helen and Danielle are the ones to watch right now. I mean, Helen is so judgmental – and how can she be, given her history?  I do feel bad, but I quite like her character. That said, I can't help but feel sorry for Coleen Rooney. Can you imagine what she's going through? She's a fan of the show but I can't imagine she'll be watching this year.
Danielle, (AKA Little Miss Prim and Proper), clearly has the biggest game plan. She's trying to make out she's whatever when she's a glamour model and claimed she slept with Dexter Koh from last series (he denies this).  Don't go making out that you don't like talking about penises when you've done an interview about Dexter's willy, love.  Personally, I think she's very insecure and she doesn't know what to be like. I don't think she has very many friends. Toya is my favourite, though. She's just like one of my mates. The fact she brought her fanny spray into the house and told the whole nation she uses it makes me think: 'go on, girl!'
Pauline's power trip - Pauline was my favourite housemate on day one (although it's now Toya). I don't think this power thing (a great twist by the way, BB), has gone to her head yet. Pauline seems very loyal and kept close to her own people. I think she got the wrong end of the stick with the Chris though – who I LOVE. She took his comments about weeing in the kitchen way too seriously. And she was VERY clever with the whole Helen in the final decision. Related article: Big Brother 2014: Most shocking must-see moments so far     Who's really going to vote for a finalist who slept with a married man and sold the story to a national newspaper? Very smart move.
I do worry that Pauline is getting quite used to the power thing, though. I wonder how many people will be licking her a**e when she gets stripped of it?  If it was up to me, I'd definitely be giving my killer nomination to Danielle. Can you imagine me in the house with her? She'd find me grotesque! But I think she'll vote for Matthew, as I don't think she's taken to him.
Here come the boys - I'll tell you what: That Marlon? Phwoar! He has COMPLETELY won me over. He's so FIT. For me he should definitely win the alpha male position. Or maybe Ash, as he's quite cool and relaxed. I'm having lots of fun watching Stephen chat up Kimberly too, as he's got no chance! She's quite sweet and I think she should definitely hold out. She just doesn't look interested. Also, was it just me or was the whole Tamara and Winston thing quite awkward? I mean, who jumps in a bathtub with someone they've just met?! It didn't seem natural. I think they know that if you couple up you get loads of attention. It's bit like me and John James – just a shame we did't realise until we came out of the house!
Year of the game plans - There are lots of game players this year. Everyone in the house seems to know their stuff and can definitely hold their own. They're all desperate to win. At the moment they are all keen to impress one another but from my experience, it only takes about a week for people to forget about the cameras and really be themselves. These first few days are important for everyone to hold their own otherwise you get forgotten about. If no one is making an impact on you then you put them up for eviction.  Danielle and young Ashleigh will struggle the most as they'e just not gelling with anyone. Pauline might be caught out when she loses her power too as she'll really start to learn who's who.  But to be honest, I think most of them would just struggle in life really...
